Bring it on...

Well goodness me ... We finally have a hole in the ground!!

Most of the debris was removed. Below you can see my bricks are still there... And now I also have some big rocks to do something with...

The surveyor was back and marked off the corners of the house and the front deck with the pink markers.

And look I have a bathroom on site!

.... A few days of rain and then a couple of days of good weather.

I am told I finally have my permit... So it's time to put the forms in for the foundation footings.

And by the end of the day today.... 

You can see that it's not really so tiny.

....the foot print is 24x30

The front part that sticks out is a sunken patio entrance to the ground floor basement.

Bring on the concrete!
