Deep in the green house... You can see a few green peppers.
My contractor pulled up all the wires for the floor heating. Things are ready for the electrician to install the thermostats.
Here is the den...
This is the living room. The thermostat is the top one, the lower is a bank of three light switches.
Here is the den....
That is the drywall for the basement. The doors and hardware for the den and bedroom doors, and screen doors..... Like the screen door on the house across the street.
So here is a corner that needs work. Plugs need finishing. Contractor will be getting the kitchen cabinets tomorrow, installation to follow. So no baseboard trim needed here. There will be some at the far right behind where the fridge will go. And there will be some in my secret crawl space.
And then, bedroom is not yet baseboarded.
Yes there is far too much white everywhere......
In the den I have a daybed to go in - that is white!
And I think I said it here before, but sometimes the floor looks like the fake barn wood it was intended to look like, other times more like concrete blocks. I think I should have chosen a grout that was matching in colour to the tile, rather than contrasting.
Once all my furniture is in, the floor will look different and then I can get a sense of what colours I will want to paint the walls. I will keep the white trim.
The crew was on site most of the day working on the trim, but there was actually much running around today for many people. My contractor was on site, then left. Then I was on site, then left and I met my contractor in town. Then my contractor was back on site, then left. Then I was back at site.
The floor guy was there early on when I stopped in, then gone in the early afternoon when I was back, but then when I stopped by later- like 6pm, he was back working away. Don't know how late he stayed.
So meanwhile in the bathroom.....
The drain has been readied.
On the way over.... me in my quiet car almost snuck up on a deer.
I saw him on the side of road pulled up beside him and stared him down for a bit.
He only got scared as I took out my phone.... In both of theses pictures I am in park and he is just casually walking away... Because my car is silent when stopped.
