Door #1, Door #2 or ...

Yesterday- Friday floor guy was around and cutting tiles. No pictures.

Today Saturday, I stopped by just before dinner time..... Floor guy was there and so was the painter.
It's the weekend, but it's getting on crunch time.

I picked the fallen apples off the ground beneath the tree - I have been making juice with my juicer after cutting off the bad parts.  I picked a tomato and some chard. The cucumber and the zucchini need a little more growing time.

Inside it looks like the area around the tub is almost tiled. The white bathtub will look nice next to the gray tile. Some day in the future, the walls will have some colour as well.  The picture hardly shows, but that is as high as the tile goes on that wall, drywall above.
Here is the shower lip...
Part of the pony wall is done. You can see the piping that gets placed on the corners. It should compliment the shiny facets and towel racks.
Floor guy did not look like he was packing up just yet, so there maybe more tonight or maybe just clean up.

A peek down in the basement where the painter was working revealed more kitchen. I think these large panels might be for each side of the fridge?

All the baseboards and trim were well painted a few days ago. Yesterday I think my doors got one coat and today they received a second coat. Just primed right now.  Some people may not, but I like the way they are different styles. The pocket door will be different again... Without being a standard six panel door.  For that would be too standard and my house be not standard.
Once again, lotsa white and gray I know.

I think the bathroom will be alright once finished. The white rock shower floor and white shower wall accents will break things up. The wood sink cabinets will also add colour. In time the walls may find their favorite colour....

While the main floor waits for more room colour, it won't have to wait for the furniture and in times the walls, as the kitchen will certainly have a colour presence when it gets in place next week. Then a countertop too.... Not sure what colour that should be.
