Protecting my property.

You would have not known it was a Sunday.... Crunch time had many people on site: my contractor, the crew, floor guy... My contractor let me know when he was going to be on site in the morning and I joined him.

Look what I found in my front yard..... It's that nice neighbour who drops things... Seeds.
We talked about the doors and my contractor will make a few adds of trim here and there and they will make things much more private around the edges. He will plug the other holes that were cut and he will find something for the bottom. It will work.
So with that, the crew arrived on site and started putting the den door on. Looks good.
I spend the day picking apples. Made a few piles .... Ones with holes in them (I have been juicing those for a week or so), small good ones, really small good ones, and the biggest good ones for eating.
I used an old wooden box that I found in my shed for some and I filled a large ceramic pot that had holes in the bottom. I set both of those on blocks. Then I had several of my plastic bins. I forgot to take a picture as I set these in my cold room... Which now has a door on it. I will have to figure out better containers. I will can some.... But I am kinda busy thinking about moving...

Anyhow I finally got them all off the tree!

Came back at sunset to check in and protect my property!
Once again Mr Bear is in the absentee neighbours' yard enjoying a fast of pears!
I know he is this picture....
Here let me zoom in for you...See the black blob?
I thought about it for awhile and decided to let him eat the pears... Eat as much as he can tonight, or keep coming back each night until they are gone. No one is in a hurry to pick them. As long as Mr. Bear knew he was not allowed to trespass in my yard.
So I ventured inside to see what was accomplished.
The stovetop fan is in place with more cupboard fronts on.
The doors are on the sink cabinets.
Although not finished, another piece of drywall is up in the laundry area.
The bathroom light was connected with wires, so it, like the kitchen are on all night. The electrician will get the switches done tomorrow.
So tile is all done except for shower floor and small side trims.... And grout. Tomorrow he grouts.
Stripes....
Shampoo shelf....
This is some of the trim that I speak of. It's actually the same tile from the wood stove area lift.

...... Meanwhile outside Mr Bear is still having his evening snack.
I decided to chase him away and then a few minutes later he was in the yard beside mine (south) looking like he might come by my yard for some hazelnuts. So I chase him back out of that yard too.
After he was gone - and at a running lope I may add, I turned to find this... She left as well.
