Another day with all hands on deck!

Well ....the crew was working in the basement today... Front wall drywall done.

Working at the side walls....

The electrician will have to return before things get tidy in the panel corner.

Upstairs my contractor was putting the kitchen puzzle together.

It's a small house with a small kitchen.

The long brown particle boards I saw in the basement are for the kick boards, between the floor and the cupboards. The dark colour is actually the backside... They are not in place yet.

Starting to look like a home.

A few shelves and a few cupboard doors...

The cooktop tomorrow.... Guess I best go buy my convection oven too.

Here is what the front panels will look like.

I will have to pick out some nice hardware... handles.

Speaking of hardware... here is what the bedroom and den doors will be all about.... Except each door will look different than this.

This is the den door... And the attic hatch.

Here is the attic... Not like it's possible to climb up there or anything. 

I think it's a code thing.

Here is the stove fan and the bathtub that keeps changing rooms.

The bathroom is coming along. Here is the white accent stripe.

I like my shelf for shampoo.

Almost time to call the plumber back...

Well I guess there is still much to do.

But I am moving in.... in less than two weeks....

The windows were measured for blinds today.

....and while that was happening it was time for these two to be spotted two yards over.

And then about an hour so later the two were up and looking like they might come over towards my yard. But really they were looking startled. Then I figured it out...

This fella was walking around my neighbours yard.

I had my broom and dustpan in hand and I chased him out of the neighbours yard. 

First he stood up to grab an apple from the tree and he thought he might lay down under the bushes there.... 

But I yelled at him, banged the broom and chased him out of the yard... with my neighbour who arrived home just in time.

Let's take a closer look at him.....Big fella.

I am referring to my compost bin. He is really smelling all the fruit that is still on the trees. But I will have to build a bear proof compost at some point.
