Cleaning up and clearing out.

The kitchen is coming along... 

Countertop was ordered. Yes that happened later than I wanted it to, but it will be nice... A few more cupboard fronts to go on. The fan and the cooktop are in the room, so they will be installed soon. It is a smaller big fridge that I have bought... 9.2 litre.

Now to start thinking about what goes where....

The bottom corner cupboard may be an extra bedroom closet space, but the upper corner has lotsa room for kitchen stuff.

Hmmmm.... What will go in here....

I think at one point I was going to put my convection oven over the fridge so that's how the outlet ended up there. Later I decided to put another cupboard there. 

Hopefully my convection oven finds its home. It will be either in the corner between the stove and the sink or the only other counter space toward the wood stove.

The bathroom continues....

The shower is not yet finished, but finally floor guy is working on the front floor ... so the toilet and vanity can get in the house, before I do.

This was midday.... 

I took off for town and bought the all handles for the kitchen cupboards. I ordered my blinds for the bedroom and both of the den windows. Today I chose a blind for the bathroom window as well. I had previous plans to create a window covering that resembled a rice paper wall, but decided it might not look too good... And the rest of the room is shaping up to be a pretty snazzie spa.

When I returned to site I could see the basement is basically done. The electrician will have to get around the panel still... That is my car pluged in for a trickle charge while I have stopped by. The blue folder has the manual for the EVSE which just may arrive tomorrow. (For charging the car).

Things are getting cleaned up and cleared out.

That is my toilet under all the odds and ends...

Oh and I still need the hot water heater....

I need the vent pipes and the cold room door!

When I stopped in the floor guy was still working on the bathroom floor. I have moved the bathroom sink and vanities upstairs to the den. I brought the mirrored cabinet over, but it still needs to be assembled. I tried to map out where cuts on the vanities need to be made for access to the hidden litter box.  I did not stay too long or take further pictures, as floor guy is easily bothered and stressed....
